Started in March 2012 on my website then was a main feature as I got more and more into mental health activism and campaigning

began blogging on MIA on 29 January 2012, these posts up to the September of the same year

blogging about my engagement, from May 2009 until now, with the Warwickshire-based organisation Circles Network that manages the Fife advocacy project

started in January 2008, promoting peer support and peer led alternatives in mental health. In response to need we progressed to promoting and supporting survivor, user and carer participation and leadership in service design and delivery. Lack of funding support led to the organisation ceasing active participation in November 2012. The website continues as a news resource and archive.

Virtual Cupar is a project with 3 aims:

  1. the production of a virtual environment that is recognisable as the contemporary town centre of Cupar, in Fife, Scotland;
  2. the documentation of this production in such a way that anyone with access to comparable equipment can follow the description to replicate the process and author a similar product;
  3. more generally, the development and documentation of a low cost method for reproducing urban areas from reality as virtual environments.

A preview flythrough of Virtual Cupar version 0.2, which will be available as a free download from from www.virtualcupar.co.uk when ready.

Video shows some of the buildings of the Bonnygate, after first draft modelling and prior to first draft texturing.

Models were authored in Blender 2.73. The flythrough takes place in Unreal Engine 4.7.3. Video captured with Open Broadcaster Software v0.65b
